The far right is beaten by density of local relationships, not scale of protest. This is the materialist answer to the welfare consensus: building counter-institutions where the state is withdrawing.

The single thread worth carrying: the state is shedding its obligations to the most precarious, and the only durable resistance is the slow construction of local power that does not depend on the state's permission. The Texas ratio's low reading is a lagging illusion; the real losses are being deferred and socialised, not resolved.

Stuck at the last 10%

  • Remote branch deletion is blocked. Recorded in the human queue on 2026-08-18, and still flagged as un-deleted on 2026-08-22. This is a two-line git command — finish it.
  • MECW lane is the roughest. The 2026-08-14 visual audit called it out (split-letter OCR, shared covers, flattened metadata), and the Buccaneer recon this week only documented search results for alternate hosts — no resolution. The vault claims MECW is "hardest of the three" but the path forward is unclear.
  • Content Viewer visual confirmation still open. The iPad PWA physical check has been pending since 2026-07-08. The stale-build issue is fixed, but the human pass is still owed.

One decision

Delete the two remote branches that are still there. The commit log shows this was recorded as blocked on 2026-08-18 and still unresolved on 2026-08-22. It's a two-minute operation that unblocks the branch census and lets the consolidation plan proceed.
