Comrade Adoratsky:

I have sent Lavrentyeva’s application[1] to Smolyaninov (who is acting for Gorbunov as the C.P.C. business manager) for dispatch to the proper address.

I am not supposed in any sense to interfere in this and similar other cases; and all the assistance you can give to applicants should consist in “legal” aid to them, i.e., teaching them (and helping them) to fight for their rights according to all the rules of the legitimate fight for rights in the R.S.F.S.R.
